Abstract
The swift development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has markedly altered the teaching and learning dynamics in higher education. This research explores the impact of AI-powered learning, with a specific emphasis on Chat-GPT, in enhancing university students’ academic success and career growth. The investigation is founded on primary data gathered from 402 university students via a structured questionnaire aimed at evaluating awareness, usage habits, learning outcomes, skill enhancement, and ethical considerations related to AI-supported education. Despite the high level of acceptance, the participants show an understanding of challenging issues, such as concerns surrounding academic integrity, reliance on AI, and risks tied to misleading information. This nuanced perspective underscores the need for responsible and ethical integration of AI within institutions of higher learning. The findings indicate that AI-driven platforms are transforming higher education by promoting learner independence, digital transformation and changing scenario. Moreover, students view Chat-GPT as a vital aid in preparing for their careers by helping with skill development, job exploration, resume drafting, and interview preparation. Thus, the research indicates that AI should be considered not merely as an external technological resource, but as a fundamental part of modern academic environments.
